The Digital Competency Wheel is an interactive diagram that visually illustrates the strength of different aspects of digital competency.
Each column represents a competency with a possible score between 0 and 100%. The higher the score the stronger is the competence.
The purpose of the Digital Competency Wheel is to support the development of digital competencies. The Digital Competency Wheel helps to structure and provide an overview of what digital skills are available and need to be better.

identified to be part of digital competence
2. dimension: Competence descriptors
and titles that are pertinent to each area
The following three digital competences are considered particularly important for you to work with if you want to improve your digital skills. Remember that all digital skills are not necessarily equally important in your profession. Therefore, the best choice is a relevant and current digital competence where there is room for improvement.

A score of 0% means that the competence is equal to normal, while a positive score means that the competence is relatively higher than normal.
The interesting thing about benchmarking is thus no longer the score of competence, but how the competence scores relative to others.
The diagram below reflects your digital competencies in relation to the norm. The normal range tells something about how respondents "usually" score.
Keep an eye out for some competencies differing significantly. If a competence scores higher than normal, then this competence is extraordinarily good, while a competence that is below normal is relatively weak.
